Go Pack Go!

When I started to think about my next blog entry, I wasn't sure what to write. I don't want to keep writing the same thing over and over again. Life its been another crazy week. I have really hit the ground running on Jan 1st and I haven't slowed down. I'm also starting to feel the pressure and some anxiety for the Snow BIZaar which is one week away! (I hope you plan to join me that day!) We are having a fashion show that day and I get to be one of the models. I'm very excited to get my make-up and hair done. I also got a great outfit to model off from Serendipity in Baldwin. I think I'll turn some heads that day! I'm very giddy about this, but like I said, starting to get a little anxious and nervous about it.

I also wen into see Lisa at Physicians Weight Loss Center on Friday and my results were awesome again. I'm down to 156. yeah!! I'm also at 30% body fat and that is so impressive. I feel great. Finally starting to feel like I did the first couple of months of my journey, much better like before Christmas.

A couple of weeks ago, my mom said the funniest thing to me about my diet. She asked me if I would ever be able to eat "normal" again. And I"m not trying to pick on my mom at all, but I want you to understand how this "diet" works. I'm eating all real foods. Besides some protein supplements, I'm eating lean meats, veggies of all kinds and fruit. I do eat some carbs but they are limited. And I'm starting to know what I should be eating so I know if I'm eating too many carbs or if I'm not eating enough of the good stuff or even too much.

I'm not starting to train for the Eau Claire 1/2 marathon. Its on May 1st and I'm pumped for it! I want to PR and really finish and end strong. I have plans to do some weight lifting and I think that will make a world of difference as well. This also means that I have to eat more. I need to "feed the machine" as I'm told my Lisa and her hubby Dr. Pat. (He's a chiropractor). I ran 7+ miles this morning, it felt so good and I've eating plenty of good stuff before and now after.

I'll keep you up to date with the running as well as the weigh loss. I guess getting under 30% body fat will be a big deal for me. I will keep you updated on that too! Take care!
