First off, our radio show was AWESOME! If you didn’t get a chance to hear it, I’m not sure if I will be able to get the show uploaded to the website anymore. We are working on that because of the size of the files, it might be a little difficult. If you aren’t doing anything on Thursday afternoon from 3-4pm, please stop by the Hammond Hotel. Sit out on the patio with us as we chat about the Local Biz, the Hammond Hotel and with Local Businesses. Last week, we chatted with Brad Parrott of the Central St. Croix Chamber and also with Dirk Vrieze of 3 Guys Granite and the host of Dirk Off Tuesdays at the Hammond Hotel! We sent Don off in style to Sturgis, but he will be back today and ready for our show on Thursday and for Hammond Heartland Days that is about to get started this weekend!
Heartland Days starts out with a Medallion Hunt that is sponsored by the Central St. Croix Chamber of Commerce of which I sit as co-chair of the Heartland Days committee! So go out there and start looking! The hunt starts tomorrow (Tuesday morning by 8am). Then on Wednesday, the Hammond Golf Club has their Big Cup Tournament. There’s still time to get in on the fun! Give Brandon a call at the golf club. The number is 715-796-2266. Also on Wednesday, the Hammond Library is hosting the Teddy Bear Band outside next the other Library. Again this year, the library has many activities planned for Heartland Days. If you go to the Local Biz website, and go to featured stories, there is more info about the Library’s Heartland Days activities!
