Livin' Out a Dream!

This is an addition to the post I made a couple days ago...
I have to tell you that I did make my 3-50 goal for April. I didn't just spend the $50 in three places, it was more like 4 or 5 places, but at least I spent the money! I have to tell you that I'm buzzin' about Phoenix Bar and Grill in Baldwin! I had lunch there on Thursday with some friends. It is a beautiful place in a really nice new location. (It is located south of the interstate at the Baldwin Exit) First off, the aura of the place is relaxed and sporty. There are booths and tables so if you like the booths, you can have a little more privacy. The menu is full of good food and everyone at my table really enjoyed their lunch! So, PLEASE, go and try out Phoenix Bar and Grill in Baldwin. Oh and kids eat for 1/2 price on Tuesdays. I'm thinking I will take the kids there soon.

Hello again, The NEW May Issue of the Local Biz is now available!!! We will be getting this out the next couple of days so get out and get a copy.

I have some big news! (I may have mentioned this last time) The Local Biz has a radio show!!! We have a weekly radio show on WIXK AM1590 that airs on Thursday mornings after the 8:30am news. This has always been something that I've been interested in. I'm no Donna Valentine, but it is fun to get on the radio and talk about the Local Biz and what's going on in the area. The Show will get bigger and bigger as I get more comfortable with this, so please tune in on Thursday mornings at around 8:30am. I also plan to post a link to the radio show on the website as well.

SPEAKING OF THE WEBSITE...The site is fully operational! It is all good to view and includes features like the What's going on events calendar, extended articles, past issues, information about advertising, contact information and a link to this blog. Please, please take advantage and contact me with any suggestions and comments. Also, if you have an event, I will list it for free on the website.
